Ladies Wednesday Golf
Valley View women returned to the course for a Stroke event last Wednesday after extreme heat led to the cancellation of golf the previous week.
In A Grade, Tracey Wade was the winner with a three under par 88-17-71. She also returned the best scratch score with her 88 off the stick. Jenni Bauerle was runner up after finishing one shot back with 89-17-72.
In B Grade, Sharon Harrison had a day out, finishing an outstanding 6 under par on 95-27-68. Her 95 off the stick was easily the best scratch score. Marlene Topp was one shot back with another excellent score of 104-35-69.
Remarkably, despite the excellent scoring on the day, the nearest the pin on the 15th eluded everyone.
