Ladies Weekly Golf Report 3/5/25

Last Wednesday, Valley View women celebrated the memory of Life Member Bess Wood. We are thankful for the continued support of the Wood family. Most players arrived having already organised a partner for the 4BBB Stableford competition. Jenni Bauerle and Judy Sutton were the pair who arrived hoping to find a partner and having teamed up, they accumulated a score of 44 points to be clear winners on the day. A count back was required to decide the runners up. Marie Watt and Wanda Hacon were successful, after having the better back 9, from Tracey Wade and Judy Greer, when both pairs finished on 41 points.
Nearest the pins were won by Janice Johnstone in A Grade and Wendy Cox in B Grade.
In a close match in the first round of Winter Pennant, Valley View squared with Parkland.
