Ladies Golf Report 21/5/25

The conclusion of the M &S Group Accounting sponsored Club Championships last Wednesday saw back to back winners in all three grades. Congratulations to Tracey Wade who is our Club Champion and runner up Marilyn West. Helen Armstrong played three very good rounds of golf to again win the B Grade Championship, followed by last year’s runner up, Wanda Hacon. Marie Watt continued her dominance in C Grade and Judy Sutton was runner up. Wendy Cox won the best Nett score.

In the daily competition, sponsored by Terry White Chemmart, Helen Armstrong was the clear winner in A Grade with 97-23-74, from Janice Johnstone 100-22-78, who was also nearest the pin. Marie Watt had the best round of the day 102-31-71 to win B Grade from Wanda Hacon 100-25-75. Wendy Cox was nearest the pin.

Valley View Division 2 defeated Cobram 3 1/2 to 1 1/2 on Monday 19th at Valley View to be second on the ladder two points back from Shepparton. In the final match of the season at Cobram, Valley View will play Mooroopna. A good result will put them in the play off on Flag day at Numurkah June 2nd.
