Ladies Golf Report 8/6/25

Club member, Judy Sutton , was our generous sponsor for our Stroke and Medal round last Wednesday.

Tracey Wade returned easily the best score of the day to win A Grade, the Monthly Medal and the A Grade scratch with 90-18-72 and also the least putts award with 27 putts. Jenni Bauerle was runner up with 94-15-79 and Helen Emery was nearest the pin.

In B Grade Gill Thorsen led the field with 103-27-76 one shot ahead of runner up Marlene Topp, 117-34-77. Judy Greer was nearest the pin and also won the B Grade Scratch with 103 on a count back from Gill Thorsen.

Our Division 2 pennant team went down 2/3 to Shepparton in the final at Numurkah. Unfortunately, due to the rescheduling of the final to the first week in June, three members of the original Valley View team were unavailable. Three substitutes were qualified to play. After a tight struggle over 18 holes the score was locked at two wins and two losses each with the fifth pair required to play on to decide the winner. Helen Armstrong was the Valley View player required to play on and it took till the 21st hole for Shepparton to take the win. Well done to all players.
