Ladies Wednesday Golf - 13/3/24

The highlight of Wednesday's Stableford round, sponsored by Jen's Fine Food and Coffee came on the 15th green. After hitting what she thought was a pretty good shot, Leanne Busch was surprised not to see her ball on the green as she approached. After a short search around the green, there was excitement as her ball was found in the hole. A neat way to claim nearest the pin. This was not Leanne's first hole in one, but she couldn't quite remember when she had her first. A quick check of the Honour Board in the Club House showed that her first hole in one was, in fact, way back in 1998.

The 4 Stableford points Busch gained for her hole in one, gave her the advantage on the back nine to claim the win in A Grade, but only on a count back from Helen Emery when both finished with 36 points.

Wanda Hacon had the best score of the day with 37 points to win B Grade. Marlene Topp was runner up with 36 points. Judy Greer was nearest the pin.
