GOLF - Weekly report 25/2/2024

While Saturday’s morning shift golfers dealt with a strong breeze, it had abated sufficiently by the time the afternoon groups hit off to provide a perfect conditions for golf.

Brendan Cornwall also enjoyed the conditions putting together one of his best rounds since joining the club as he took out B grade with 39 points from Peter Sherman with 36.

Sharon Harrison also put together an excellent round taking out the ladies’ comp with 40 points while Trudy Denham got the better of Julie Neale in the countback for runner up with 37 points.

Mick McAuliffe picked up the runner’s up trophy with 34 points in a countback from Kelley Cheong and Paul Kuiper.
