BOWLS - Weekly report 4/2/24

MIDWEEK BOWLS

> Our last match of the season due to us having the bye the last week, we travelled to our neighbour Stanhope. The greens were fantastic but our bowling wasn’t that great, and the opposition was far too experienced for us, with the overall score being 123 to 20. It is no surprise that they will be fighting it out in the upcoming final series.

> We wish them all the best.

> We look forward to next season, where there is some talk of us reverting back to Friday.

> Thank you to our hard working volunteers for having our greens in fantastic condition, and to Bev our manager who has the difficult task of finding replacements due to unavailability, and to the men who helped us out when needed.

> We gratefully appreciate your support.
